Only Days until summer & the Christmas Season Kicks-Off

Hello and welcome to another blog from the beautiful caravan park of Agnes Water, the Captain Cook Holiday Village. This year is flying by with the summer season only days away, Christmas will be here before we know it! We hope you have an awesome time planned; we certainly will have a great time here at the beach accommodation of 1770. Let’s see what Agnes Water has planned for the final days of November and the start of the summer and festive season.

To start the weather over the next week looks to be much like last week’s weather. The temperature is slowly rising with the daily degree tops hovering around the 28 to 29 degree mark. Almost all days will be awesome and mostly sunny with the odd chance of rain. The week will have perfect conditions to head down on a short stroll to the Agnes Water main beach.

As the weather starts to rise on the mercury scale the waves are slowly rising too. The next week at the beach will have the occasional bit of surf so if you are keen to pull out the board keep an eye on the beach. There will be calm times in the waters too for fisherman out there.

In other news around Agnes Water, the turtles have begun nesting this month along the coast. The nesting turtles will reach their peak around the Christmas and New Year time and continue until around the end of February, 2015. Christmas will be even more exciting with hatching expected to occur around the holiday and New Year time depending on the weather conditions.
