Welcome to this week’s blog from the 1770 Agnes Water Captain Cook Holiday Village crew!

We hope you have all been enjoying your days in our wonderful town of Agnes Water, the weather is looking to be quite warm this week, with daily tops of 29°C – 30°C. Monday & Tuesday is looking to be a little cloudy, whilst Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is looking to be mostly sunny!

If you’re planning on getting down to the beach we suggest heading down before the weekend and enjoy the warm sunny days we’ll be having mid week! For those of you who are fishing we’ve seen some great catches come through the park recently! Heading out off shore there are a huge array of species to catch, common catches include Coral Trout, Nannigai, Red Emperor, Red Throat, Cod, Sweetlips, Snapper, Tuna, Pearl Perch, Billfish, Mackeral, Cobia, Hussar and more! Agnes Water has it all!

Here at Captain Cook Holiday Village we want to make your stay enjoyable and memorable! With local staff who know the area better than anyone, we are here to help make your holiday the best it can be, so if you’re looking for things to do around 1770, come up to the front desk, say hello and pick our brains for ideas on what to do around town! There are so many great sites and activities to see and do!

“Set in lovely treed area with good sized sites, lots of cabins, clean convenient amenities and very helpful staff. Walk the Rocky Road to a quiet beach for a bit of exercise. The staff were very accommodating and assisted with weather advice and Fraser Island. Great easy to enter pool. Camp kitchen and a place to clean fish. Good value this place.” – William, Trip Advisor *reviewed 1 week ago

That’s all for this week’s Captain Cook Holiday Village crew blog. Enjoy your week!
