Queensland School Holiday Time Almost Up!
Posted on July 11, 2014Hello to another Agnes Water getaway news blog. As we say goodbye to the last few days of the Queensland school holidays let’s see what the beautiful holiday getaway town of Agnes Water, 1770 has planned.
The weather for the last couple of school holiday days look to be sunny conditions hovering around tops of 20 degrees. It looks to be nice weather to have the kids outside, while you can find some peace and quiet. The rest of the week will carry on much the same for the temperature tops, with the odd shower or two but mainly nice sunny skies.
The surf conditions are set for amateurs for the last couple of school holiday days, its good waves to have the little children out on the beach. As the working week and school kicks off into their normal routines the waves will pick up a bit.
If rugby is your sport of choice the local talent, Agnes Water’s Marlins, will be taking on Gin Gin at South Kolan this Sunday. Kickoff is 12:30pm with presentations, drinks and dinner at the Beach break bar from 5pm and all are welcome. This Sunday the Discovery Coast Markets will also be on at the 1770 SES Grounds.
That’s it for this week’s crew log. From Captain Cooks Holiday Village we will see you next time, enjoy yourself.
