News, Weather, Beach – Agnes Water, Queensland Holiday
Posted on July 25, 2014Hello and hope you are going well and relaxed from the crew at Agnes Waters Captain Cook Holiday Village cabin and Caravan Park. As we settle into the new schooling term it feels like we have never left, although with the kids back into their daily grind the true rest and relaxation can begin. Let’s see what the beautiful quiet getaway town in Queensland has on offer this week.
Firstly and most importantly the weather; conditions look to be mostly sunshine and sunny skies still into the deep end of winter. The temperature has daily tops around the 22 degree mark. There will be the odd shower over the weekend but from Sunday onwards the weather will shape up and become quite nice and sunny.
As the weather shape up the waves are following suit. Sunday and Monday are the pick of the surfing days and days to head down to Agnes Water’s main beach with waves of a nice challenging size. As the week goes the waves will become more and more fishing friendly.
To the local rugby circuit and Agnes Water’s own Marlins will be taking on Miriam Vale this Sunday, the 27th of July, with 12:30pm kick off. This round will be held at Avondale. The days are great fun for the whole family so head down and support our local rugby and local boys. The Discovery Coast Markets will also be on this Sunday at the SES Grounds.
That’s all for this week’s crew log. From the Captain Cook Holiday Village crew we will see you next time, enjoy yourself.
