It’s School Holiday Time
Posted on June 27, 2014Hello to another week’s blog from the lovely holiday get away town of Agnes Water. As school holidays start up for two week’s let’s see what the Queensland holiday town is up to.
The weather over the next week is being nice for the kids to get out and play, with daily tops around the 22 and 23 degree mark. Most days will also be sunny, great for a picnic, a walk on the local tracks or fishing.
The surf over the holidays is off to a great start with the weekend looking nice. The waves should be strong over Saturday and Sunday with good swells.
If surfing isn’t for you get into the local Agnes Water spirit and support the local rugby team, the Marlins. The local boys will be going head-to-head against Miriam Vale at 2:15pm this Sunday in a home town game.
This Sunday will also play host to the Discovery Coast Markets at the 1770 SES Grounds.
That’s it for this week’s crew’s log. Enjoy yourself and the school holidays.
