Halloween Done For Another Year

Posted on November 1, 2013

Hello from the beautiful Agnes Water for another week. Hope you’re doing well and recovered from the Octoberfest celebrations and Halloween. Don’t know about you but I’m all pumpkin’ed out.

Let’s see what the weathers up to. No dampening of the spirits here (pun intended). A little sprinkling and dots of rain early today but clearing now to make an awesome weekend. The whole week looks to hover at peaks of around 27 degrees. As little red riding hood would say or like my morning cereal – just right. With the sun comes its rays so keep sun smart as the weather keeps picking up.

Looking out to the waves this week it appears pretty, pretty flat. For the surfers out there probably not the best conditions, for the amateur surfer starting out though perfect to buid some confidence and have some easy fun. Alternatively, replace the board with a rod and reel, great conditions for fishing and to pick up a cheap dinner.

Today plays host to the Halloween after party fundraiser for the Agnes Water Surf Life Saving Club. It’s for a good local cause so if you are free today head down to Kahunas Bars & Grill for a fun time.

Thanks for reading the Agnes Water 1770 blog this week. Share your thoughts on the Captain Cook Holiday Village Facebook page. Enjoy yourself, till next time.
