School Holidays Draw to a Close
Posted on October 4, 2013Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of 1770 Captain Cook Holiday Village blog. Only a few hours left of school holidays!! But, this means the beaches, parks and fishing hotspots will be less crowded for us bludgers.
The weather is turning is on raising the mercury to perfect levels. All days read sun with a chance of more sun, with steady temperatures staying around the 27 degree mark. Sunday, for the grand final between Sydney Roosters and Manly will be fine and 27 degrees. Whip out the BBQ with mates and make it an all day event!
Surf for the week looks to be suiting the beginners. Out on the waves they will have peaks around the foot mark. With this weather, though, who cares? Go for a swim, bring the rod and reel and fish, hit up local walking tracks or picnic.
Fancy yourself to be an athlete? Test yourself with the Agnes Water triathlon this Sunday – build up your thirst for a few sneaky grand final frothys. It is an early start to the day with 6:30am registration. Get the worm, be the early bird. For more information click here.
