Captain Cook own Octoberfest
Posted on October 25, 2013G’day, from the beautiful Agnes Water. Hope you’re staying sun-smart as the mercury rises and the weather picks up even more.
The weather over the next week looks to maintain its slow and steady rise, hovering around the 28 degree mark. Absolutely delight days ahead with mostly sunny-sunshine poking through the spots of cloud. Slide the cap and sunnies on and stay sun-smart and make the most of it.
The surfs picking up this week, working hand in hand with the weather – the stars are aligning. Just pick the right time, the start of the working week looks to have good waves. If you aren’t working, happy times on the surf.
This Saturday or tomorrow, as it’s otherwise known, head down to the Captain Creek Sport & Rec from 12pm noon onwards. Captain Cooks own Agnes Water grown Octoberfest is on. Set to kick on until midnight with overnight camping permitted and breakfast available Sunday it should be a great event. The local boys of rugby, Agnes Waters Marlins will be there so head down and enjoy yourself.
Kill the Octoberfest hangover by grabbing a banana at the Discovery Coast Markets, to be held Sunday morning at the SES grounds.
